Loading ...Aight. So, i upgraded to WordPress 2.6 but not it seems my wordpress has gone NUTS! Actually not. The main issue is that after i upgraded from my 2.5 version to the 2.6 version, i now have to do something so that my pictures/videos are still beeing uploaded to the right directory.
I tried uploading a picture but somehow something went wrong. The picture isn’t showing. It is uploading but it can’t be shown as the path is incorrect. But there is a small ‘fix’ if you want to call it like that.
In your administrator panel you have under Settings, a new section called Miscellanous (the path is /wp-admin/options-misc.php) if you have a plugin that isnt showing you this button. Click on it and under STORE UPLOADS IN THIS FOLDER, enter your desired path. If you used /wp-content/uploads prior to your upgrade and still have files in there, i’d suggest you enter /wp-content/uploads, and click SAVE CHANGES. This should start working right away.
Now, if you don’t want to upload your files into /wp-content/uploads, simply enter any path (relative to your blog) and remember to chmod or you won’t be able to upload as wordpress won’t write to that folder.
